After last week's Max Payne 3 announcement Rockstar Games plans to release the first Max Payne & its sequel, Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, on the Xbox 360.

Both games are a third-person action game. Max Payne is a relentless, urban, revenge-driven story of a fugitive cop with nothing to lose. Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne is a tragic Film Noir love story set in the night of New York City.

Last year a quite succesfull movie about Max Payne was released, with Mark Wahlberg as Max Payne.

Expect both games to be released short after the launch of Max Payne 3 during the winter this year.
