Any game disc that features the NXE installer will not play unless users accept the update command; whereby the update will run if users still have the old blade dashboard system in place.

The 1st 2 games that will have the update installers loaded onto their discs are MLB: 2K9 & Tom Clancy: H.A.W.X, with other titles expected to follow soon.

Microsoft’s plan is to ensure that every 360 owner does away with its old dashboard interface & moves onto NXE; the platform holder is no longer applying any updates or security measures for the blades service.
